MANTRA Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain network focused on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), has temporarily suspended network operations due to an unexplained incident. The team stated that all network transactions have been suspended as a precaution to limit potential risks and investigate the source of the incident.

MANTRA announced via X that they are aware of an incident affecting the network and that MANTRA Chain has been suspended until the investigation is complete. According to the statement, all endpoints and transactions on the network are currently frozen.

The suspension of network operations also affects deposit and withdrawal transactions to and from the MANTRA platform. The team warned users to refrain from making new transactions and to wait for further information on the matter.

According to information on MANTRA’s official status page, engineering and security teams are working with external partners to determine the cause of the incident and resolve the issue. The project has also reached out to exchanges and ecosystem partners, requesting that trading in the native token MANTRA be suspended until the problem is resolved.

The team stated that the root cause of the incident has not yet been determined and there is no definite timeline for when the network will be reactivated. While investors closely followed the developments, the MANTRA token also experienced a sharp decline. The token lost 9.9% of its value in the last 24 hours, falling to $0.004406.

MANTRA has recently been in the news due to its restructuring process. Inveniam Capital Partners, a strategic backer of the project, announced in June that it would acquire the platform. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026. This acquisition plan comes after the major crash of the MANTRA token in 2025 and the subsequent restructuring and layoffs.
