Etherfuse has entered a strategic partnership with Shinhan Securities to support the expansion of tokenized sovereign debt access across Asian markets. Etherfuse, a digital infrastructure provider for onchain fixed-income products, will work with Shinhan Securities, a major South Korean investment and brokerage firm, to enable institutional distribution of government bonds in tokenized form.
The partnership centers on Etherfuse’s stablebond framework, which allows sovereign debt to be represented onchain with predictable interest mechanics and verifiable backing. Tokenized bonds are designed to align with regulatory requirements and established market standards across multiple Asian jurisdictions.
The initiative is expected to complement traditional custody, clearing, and compliance processes rather than replace them. Through collaboration with Shinhan Securities, Etherfuse aims to broaden institutional participation in digital sovereign debt markets across Asia.
