- Iceberg has launched a decentralized prop trading model with immediate access, removing traditional evaluation challenges and profit targets.
- The platform uses live Hyperliquid market data and pays eligible profits in $USDC, with 80% going to traders.

Its model also introduces an on-chain payout pool, automated smart-contract settlements, and predefined risk limits designed to reduce discretionary intervention.
Iceberg is entering a growing market of crypto-native prop firms built around on-chain trading and automated payouts. Other platforms are also experimenting with Hyperliquid-based models, showing that decentralized infrastructure is becoming increasingly relevant to proprietary trading.

Iceberg Brings Instant Funding To On-Chain Trading
Iceberg says its instant decentralized funding model removes the traditional evaluation stage used by many proprietary trading firms. Traders select an account, pay an access fee, and begin immediately without first reaching a predetermined profit target.
The platform uses live Hyperliquid prices and order-book depth, meaning execution conditions are linked to an active crypto trading environment rather than a conventional simulated market feed. Hyperliquid has become a major venue for perpetual futures and decentralized derivatives trading, making its infrastructure increasingly relevant to crypto-native trading applications.
Iceberg says traders retain 80% of eligible profits, with payouts denominated in $USDC. Its published rules include a 3% daily loss limit, a 6% static maximum loss, payout requests between 1% and 5%, and a 90-day account lifetime. The platform also says it does not impose a consistency rule or trailing maximum drawdown.
On-Chain Payouts Put Transparency At The Center
A key component of the model is Iceberg’s visible payout pool. The company says traders can inspect available liquidity, reserved funds, balances, and transfer history on-chain before purchasing an account.
Iceberg also says it is bootstrapped rather than VC-funded and has allocated $30,000 of its own capital to support the initial payout pool. According to its model, 99% of account fees enter the payout pool, while 1% is retained for infrastructure costs. Eligible payouts are designed to execute automatically through smart contracts rather than requiring manual approval.
The approach reflects a broader shift toward code-based financial infrastructure, where transaction records and settlement activity can be independently inspected. Other Hyperliquid-native prop platforms already advertise on-chain rewards and smart-contract-based payouts, indicating that Iceberg is entering an emerging segment rather than operating in isolation.
Iceberg also argues that removing repeated evaluation fees can lower the cost of reaching funded trading. The company estimates that traders typically spend around three comparable challenge fees for an instant account, while citing public challenge data suggesting approximately six evaluations for each successful pass.
