Trading Volume Is Skyrocketing for 15 Altcoins in South Korea

South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have seen remarkable trading volumes in some altcoins over the past 24 hours. A combined analysis of data from both exchanges reveals a concentration of activity, particularly in Lisk ($LSK), VeThor ($VTHO), and Steem ($STEEM).

According to the combined data from Upbit and Bithumb, Lisk took the top spot by a wide margin with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $500.6 million. Approximately $327.8 million of this $LSK trading volume came from Upbit, while $172.9 million came from Bithumb.

The total altcoin trading volumes on Upbit and Bithumb over the last 24 hours are as follows:
