Wallet in Telegram has launched Wallet Rewards, a new points based loyalty program that will let users earn crypto related rewards through trading, referrals, and on platform activity, with a $500,000 reward pool set for its first season and broader plans for millions in rewards over time.

The rollout gives the Telegram based crypto wallet a new retention and engagement layer built directly into the app, as platforms across crypto look for ways to move beyond one-off airdrops and toward more consistent user activity. Wallet said the program is available to more than 150 million registered users through Crypto Wallet.
Wallet Rewards is built around a permanent loyalty system in which users earn points through everyday activity and redeem them for tiered reward boxes. At launch, users can earn one point for every $10 swapped in Wallet, five points for every $100 in perpetuals trading volume, and an extra 20% of points generated by referred users, subject to regional availability. The company said additional earning mechanics will be introduced over time.
The product also includes a seasonal leaderboard system layered on top of the core loyalty program. The first season runs from April 16 through May 20 and offers a total of $500,000 in rewards. Of that amount, $300,000 is allocated to mystery boxes and $200,000 is reserved for leaderboard prizes distributed to the top 1,000 participants.
Rewards for the first season include stablecoins and a mix of tokens and tokenized assets, including LIT, ADI, XAUT, gold related rewards, and xStocks. Wallet said users will be able to earn, track, and redeem rewards without leaving Telegram, while future expansions are expected to include fee discounts, boosted Earn yields, partner rewards, and exclusive experiences.
Alex Kralkin, director of wealth and investment at Wallet in Telegram, said the company is bringing a familiar Web2 style rewards structure into Web3 while embedding it in a messaging environment where users already interact socially and frequently.
The company said points will not expire and that future seasons, mechanics, and reward uses are already planned. For now, the first season serves as the starting point for a longer term push to make Wallet Rewards a permanent part of the Telegram crypto experience.
