Binance has announced that it will support the planned upgrade for the THORChain (RUNE) network in an effort to improve user experience.
Binance to Support THORChain (RUNE) Network Upgrade
In this context, token deposits and withdrawals on the RUNE network will be temporarily suspended as of 21:00 on June 17, 2025.
The network upgrade will reportedly be implemented at block number 21,574,000, which is expected to occur around 22:00 on the same day.
In the statement made by Binance, it was stated that token trading on the network in question will not be affected and the technical requirements will be fully met by the platform.
Once the network upgrade is complete and stable operation is confirmed, deposits and withdrawals for the relevant tokens will be reactivated. However, it was stated that no new announcement will be made for this process.
