Ben Zhou, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, announced that Byreal, the first on-chain decentralized exchange (DEX) the company has incubated, will be available by the end of this month.
According to the CEO, Byreal, built on the Solana network, offers a hybrid structure that combines centralized exchange (CEX)-level liquidity with the transparency of the DeFi world.
Zhou argued in his statement that Byreal is not just another DEX, saying:
“Byreal combines CEX-quality liquidity with the transparency of DeFi. This is a true hybrid finance example. There are also future projects underway where CEX and DEX will be launched together.”
One of the most striking aspects of Byreal is its RFQ (quote on request) and CLMM (concentrated liquidity market maker) based routing system. Thanks to this structure, users will be able to execute MEV (maximum extractable value) protected transactions with low slippage.
Ben Zhou also added:
“We started from scratch and are now born on Solana. Byreal provides unified liquidity and high transaction speed. It was developed by a small but committed team and I am proud of it.”
Binance recently enabled the buying and selling of listed altcoins on decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges with its Binance Alpha feature.
