Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, announced support for the upcoming network upgrade of MultiversX ($EGLD), which aims to provide an optimized user experience in the ecosystem.
Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the MultiversX ($EGLD) network in preparation for the network upgrade, which will begin at approximately 18:05 on February 13, 2024. The upgrade is scheduled to take place around 19:05 on the same day.
Impact on Trading:
Despite the suspension of deposits and withdrawals, token trading on the MultiversX ($EGLD) network will not be affected during the upgrade.
Technical Support by Binance:
Binance will manage all technical requirements regarding the network upgrade and ensure a smooth transition for all users on the platform.
Resumption of Deposit and Withdrawal Transactions:
Upon successful completion of the network upgrade and stabilization of the upgraded networks, deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the MultiversX ($EGLD) network will be reopened immediately.
Users will be able to resume normal transaction activities once the upgraded network is deemed stable.
