DoubleZero has added Kalshi’s election and political prediction markets to its low-latency data platform, giving institutional and automated traders access to real-time order-book information ahead of the U.S. midterms.
The subscription feed includes trades, best bids and offers, and market depth aggregated by price, the DoubleZero Foundation said in a press release Wednesday. It is delivered through DoubleZero Edge, which uses the project’s fiber network to distribute market data.
The expansion could make political probabilities more useful as signals for trading, hedging and risk management. Full order-book data shows the liquidity behind headline probabilities and how aggressively traders reprice an outcome when news breaks.
DoubleZero is based in the Cayman Islands and operates a contributor-powered fiber network built on Solana designed to deliver data with low latency. Its infrastructure serves blockchains, prediction markets and other distributed systems where speed and reliable data transmission are critical. Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction-market exchange offering event contracts tied to political, economic and other outcomes.
The Nov. 3 midterm elections will determine control of Congress for the final two years of U.S. President Donald Trump’s term, with all 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats on the ballot. The outcome could either preserve Republicans’ ability to advance Trump’s legislative agenda and confirm judicial and administration nominees, or give Democrats the power to block legislation, lead congressional investigations and constrain the White House.
“Prediction markets are becoming a source of real-time information about the world, but that information is only as useful as the speed at which you can act on it,” Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, said in emailed comments.
“If a debate, court ruling or breaking news event changes the market’s direction in seconds, a delayed snapshot is already stale. Putting Kalshi’s real-time order book data for election and politics categories on DoubleZero Edge turns those probabilities into machine-ready market data that professional traders and AI systems can readily consume and act on in real time,” he added.
The launch comes as trading tied to the Nov. 3 midterms accelerates.
More than $133 million had been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US through Aug. 10, surpassing the $92.4 million traded during the entire 2024 congressional cycle, according to Anti-Corruption Data Collective figures reported by Reuters.
