Frgmnt, a stablecoin protocol built on Base, has partnered with Anchorage Digital to give institutions access to its on-chain stablecoin infrastructure. Anchorage Digital operates Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States. Its platform provides institutional services for digital assets, including custody, staking, trading, and settlement.
The integration will allow institutional clients to hold, mint, stake, unstake, and redeem fUSD within Anchorage Digital’s existing custody and operational environment. This means institutions can use Frgmnt’s products without setting up a separate custody arrangement.
Frgmnt offers two related assets on Base: fUSD and sfUSD. fUSD is minted against USDC, while its backing is deployed across selected on-chain lending markets. Users can stake fUSD to receive sfUSD and earn rewards generated by the protocol’s strategies.
Frgmnt also provides on-chain data that allows users to monitor positions and performance. Protocol information is available through its statistics tools and platforms such as Dune and DeFiLlama.
