Rain has expanded its global payout service, allowing partners to send funds from stablecoin balances to more than 80 countries in 50 local currencies. The company plans to increase coverage to 95 countries and more than 60 currencies by the end of the year.
Rain is a stablecoin payment infrastructure provider. Its technology already supports virtual accounts, fiat-to-stablecoin conversions, and stablecoin offramps. The new service adds payouts in local currencies through local payment rails.
Partners can use the system for B2B, B2C, C2C and C2B transactions. Businesses, marketplaces and contractor platforms can send payments abroad without maintaining separate banking relationships or prefunded accounts in every country.
Rain converts stablecoins into local currencies through licensed partners and delivers funds through local payment infrastructure. Settlement times depend on the destination and payment rail, with some transfers completed in real time and others taking up to two business days.
The service is currently available to selected beta partners, with broader availability expected by year-end.
