TRON DAO has announced that the total circulating supply of USDT (Tether) on the TRON blockchain has exceeded $80 billion, reinforcing TRON’s position as the leading network for USDT activity. With USDT making up over 63% of the global stablecoin market and a total supply above $155 billion, more than half is now issued on the TRON network.

Since January 2025, the USDT supply on TRON has increased by approximately $20 billion, according to Token Terminal. TRON continues to lead all blockchains in USDT issuance, daily transaction volume, and user activity.

Currently, TRON handles over 8.9 million transactions per day and supports more than 315 million user accounts. On average, the network processes $21.5 billion in daily USDT transfers. Over 1 million unique wallets transact USDT each day on TRON, accounting for 28% of global active stablecoin addresses.

TRON hosts around 60% of stablecoin payment transaction volume, making it a key platform for cross-border payments and financial applications. Its scalability and low transaction costs contribute to its use in global digital dollar movement, particularly in emerging markets.

To support financial compliance, TRON launched the T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU) in collaboration with Tether and TRM Labs. The unit has assisted law enforcement in freezing over $160 million tied to illicit activity since its creation.

As stablecoins gain broader use, TRON remains a central platform for stablecoin operations and infrastructure.
