Bitmine Immersion Technologies has strengthened its position as the world’s largest corporate Ethereum holder after expanding its treasury to 5.78 million $ETH. The company now controls roughly 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply, while its combined crypto, cash, marketable securities, and strategic investments have reached $11.5 billion. Additionally, the latest milestone highlights Bitmine’s aggressive treasury strategy, which continues to prioritize Ethereum accumulation alongside staking and shareholder value initiatives.
Treasury Growth and Share Buybacks
Bitmine added 7,430 $ETH during the past week, although purchases slowed as the company repurchased 5.5 million common shares. The buyback formed part of its previously approved $4 billion repurchase program.
Consequently, management balanced treasury expansion with capital returns for shareholders. The company also reported $385 million in cash and marketable securities, alongside strategic investments, including stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco.
Staking Strategy Drives Long-Term Growth
Bitmine has staked more than 4.9 million $ETH through its MAVAN validator platform, representing about 85% of its total holdings. Moreover, annualized staking revenue currently stands near $247 million and could increase as additional tokens enter staking.
Besides expanding its Ethereum position, Bitmine recently joined the Russell 1000 Index, reinforcing its growing presence among large-cap public companies while advancing its long-term digital asset strategy.
