Hashed CEO Simon Kim announced the development of a new system for calculating the intrinsic value of Ethereum ($ETH).
Kim introduced his intrinsic value dashboard, which he prepared on social media, using the phrase, “How much is $ETH actually worth? The crypto industry deserves better than pure price speculation.”
Kim's dashboard is based on a total of 10 different valuation methodologies, combining both traditional finance models and crypto-specific metrics to determine Ethereum's fair value. Classic finance tools like DCF, price-to-sales ratio, and revenue yield are also considered, as are crypto-native models like TVL multiplier, MC/TVL, Metcalfe's Law, staking rarity, Layer 2 ecosystem, loyalty bonus, and execution capital.
According to the system, Ethereum's current price is $3,037.5, while the fair value calculated based on the average of 10 models is $4,574. This suggests that $ETH is approximately 50.6% “underpriced.”
$ETH is trading at $3,037.5, up 0.4% in the last 24 hours, with a total market capitalization of $366.5 billion and trading volume of $854.1 million. The asset is still 37.7% below its all-time high of $4,946.1.
