Famous financial commentator Jim Cramer, in his statement on CNBC screens, recommended investors to buy Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Cramer considered these two crypto assets as a hedge against the rapidly rising national debt of the United States.
“Get some protection for yourself against the $37.8 trillion debt,” Cramer said. “Get it for your children, for future generations. Anyone who thinks that way is the same way I do. I don't want this debt. I'm worried about my children.”
Cramer, who said that the growing national debt of the United States could pose serious economic risks in the long run, conveyed his message clearly to the audience by saying, “Buy some Bitcoin, buy some ETH.”
However, Jim Cramer's statements have been widely debated, as there's a widespread belief in the cryptocurrency market that the analyst's sentiments are contradictory. Cramer, previously a staunch Ethereum supporter, announced that he had sold all his ETH and has refrained from commenting on the cryptocurrency market.
