The new week started on the upside for Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins. While it is wondered whether this momentum will continue during the week, CoinShares published its weekly cryptocurrency report and said that there was an inflow of $ 1.03 billion last week.
“Last week, $1.03 billion inflows were experienced in cryptocurrency investment products, with asset inflows reaching a record level of $188 billion, marking the 12th consecutive week of inflows.”
Ethereum Goes on the Attack!
When looking at individual crypto funds, it was seen that the majority of inflows were in Bitcoin.
While BTC experienced an inflow of $790 million, positive sentiment also dominated Ethereum (ETH), with an inflow of $226.4 million.
When we look at other altcoins, XRP saw an inflow of $10.6 million, Solana (SOL) $21.6 million, and Sui (SUI) $1.6 million.
The figures signaled that investors are showing more interest in Ethereum than Bitcoin.
“Bitcoin investment products saw inflows of $790 million last week, a slowdown from the previous three weeks when they averaged $1.5 billion. The moderation in inflows suggests investors are becoming more cautious as Bitcoin approaches all-time highs.
Ethereum saw $226 million in inflows last week, marking its 11th consecutive week of inflows, bringing the total during that period to $2.85 billion. On a pro rata basis, weekly inflows during this run averaged 1.6% of AuM, significantly higher than Bitcoin’s 0.8%.
This signals a significant shift in investor sentiment in favor of Ethereum.”
When looking at regional fund inflows and outflows, the USA ranked first with an inflow of 1.02 billion dollars.
After the USA, Germany had an inflow of $38.5 million and Switzerland had an inflow of $33.7 million.
Against these inflows, Canada had an outflow of $29.3 million, while Sweden had an outflow of $19.2 million.
