Balance, a digital asset custodian for institutions, has enabled its clients to access Lido V3 stVaults through integration with Northstake. The connection is delivered via the Northstake Staking Vault Manager (SVM), an enterprise platform for staking operations.
The update allows institutional clients to stake Ethereum using Lido’s modular infrastructure. Through the SVM, users can allocate ETH into operator-specific vaults and receive stETH or wstETH while retaining liquidity. This structure supports staking without the need to exit validator positions.
Northstake, a staking infrastructure provider for regulated markets, designed SVM to combine staking tools with compliance and operational control. Balance complements this setup by offering qualified custody through Balance Trust Company, a regulated custodian serving U.S. and Canadian clients. The firm provides services to asset managers, advisers, trading platforms, and accredited investors.
