OpenAssets, a capital markets infrastructure provider focused on tokenization, has made its tokenization infrastructure available through AWS Marketplace. The new listing allows banks, asset managers, exchanges, and other institutions to deploy the OpenAssets operating system in their own Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
The company says this approach lets institutions keep tokenization operations within infrastructure they already manage. Issuance, settlement, compliance, and asset servicing can all run inside the institution’s AWS account, without relying on a separate third-party platform.
OpenAssets provides infrastructure for issuing and managing tokenized assets throughout their lifecycle. The system also includes compliance and transfer-agent tools, as well as connections to primary and secondary markets. It supports assets such as stablecoins, tokenized deposits, bonds, equities, funds, and commodities across more than a dozen blockchains.
The deployment is available through a guided process in AWS Marketplace, with technical support from OpenAssets. According to the company, the goal is to make institutional tokenization easier to deploy within existing cloud infrastructure and under the controls of financial institutions.
