Symbiosis Finance, a multi-chain liquidity protocol that enables cross-chain token swaps from various blockchain networks, today announced a strategic expansion into X1 EcoChain, an EVM-compatible Layer-1 DEPIN blockchain network that offers an eco-friendly and scalable solution for decentralized applications.

According to the announcement made today, Symbiosis is currently facilitating a new governance proposal to expand its multi-chain liquidity protocol into X1 EcoChain to allow greater asset and data moves across the two decentralized networks without barriers.

A new governance proposal is now live for voting.

We’re proposing to expand Symbiosis to @X1_EcoChain — an EVM-compatible Layer 1 network. This integration would enable official bridging for USDC, USDT, and wETH between Ethereum and X1.

Symbiosis Capitalizes On X1 EcoChain’s DEPIN Infrastructure

The entry into x1 EcoChain is part of Symbiosis’ growth strategy to advance multi-chain connectivity across the wider Web3 world. The integration shows Symbiosis’ focus on expanding its support to more chains through the deployment of its cross-chain interoperability network on the X1 EcoChain.

X1 EcoChain is a decentralized, energy-efficient DEPIN blockchain that powers over 6,500 physical nodes across 65 countries, offering real-world resources, including decentralized computing power to global digital networks. By running a PoA (Proof-of-Authority) consensus mechanism and low-powered x1Nodes, X1 EcoChain provides a scalable, cost-efficient, and environmentally-friendly environment for decentralized applications. Its PoA consensus mechanism and scalable infrastructure powers a decentralized and resilient ecosystem that resolves cloud computing challenges, including expensiveness and bottlenecks associated with traditional centralized data centers.

The integration above enabled Symbiosis to connect its cross-chain interoperability network into X1 EcoChain’s DEPIN ecosystem to capitalize on the DEPIN’s reliable, cost-efficient, scalable, and decentralized computing power to support a wide variety of Web3 applications on its multi-chain platform.

Advancing The Future Of Web3 Cross-Chain Interoperability

With this deployment, Symbiosis’ cross-chain token transfers and general message passing standard are now integrated on a new major interoperability network: X1 EcoChain’s DEPIN ecosystem. This improved connectivity enables Symbiosis’ cross-chain token transfers and general message passing standard to support a broader range of multi-chain interactions across numerous chains and projects connected to X1 EcoChain, cementing its position as a major solution for cross-chain interoperability.

The X1 EcoChain integration is set to expand the reach of Symbiosis’ cross-chain token transfers and general message passing standard to multiple EVM chains. This enables decentralized applications using Symbiosis’ cross-chain token transfers and general message passing standard to effectively connect with more EVM chains, unlocking new opportunities to expand the user base and gain access to a bigger Web3 market.
