Electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The value of the digital assets included in the company’s balance sheet decreased from $786 million on March 31, 2026, to $674 million as of June 30, 2026.

Tesla did not make any Bitcoin purchases or sales during the quarter. Therefore, the approximately $112 million decrease seen in the balance sheet value of digital assets was due to the change in the Bitcoin price, not a decrease in the amount of Bitcoin the company held.

Tesla’s digital assets were valued at $1.235 billion in the second quarter of 2025. This figure rose to $1.315 billion in the third quarter of 2025, before falling to $1.008 billion by the end of the year. The company completed the first quarter of 2026 with $786 million and the second quarter with $674 million in digital assets.
