US-based technology company Strategy continues to grow its cryptocurrency investments by adding new Bitcoin to its portfolio. According to information shared by the company’s founder and chairman, Michael Saylor, the company purchased a significant amount of Bitcoin in the past week.

According to the statement, Strategy purchased a total of 17,994 Bitcoin between March 2nd and March 8th. These purchases cost approximately $1.28 billion, with an average price of approximately $70,946 per Bitcoin.

With this latest acquisition, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings have increased significantly. As of March 8th, Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings reached 738,731. This amount makes the company one of the largest institutional Bitcoin investors in the world.

According to the data, the company has spent approximately $56.04 billion on Bitcoin purchases to date. The average cost of purchasing the company’s entire Bitcoin portfolio is approximately $75,862.

Michael Saylor has long positioned Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset for the company’s treasury. Strategy, through its large-scale purchases in recent years, has become one of the most notable examples of institutional investors’ interest in the cryptocurrency market.

Market analysts note that the company’s regular large Bitcoin purchases have both increased institutional investor confidence and signaled long-term demand in the cryptocurrency market. Whether Strategy’s aggressive accumulation strategy will continue in the coming period is being closely watched by investors.
