US President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, made bold statements about Bitcoin in an interview broadcast on CNBC.
Appearing live on the World Liberty Forum alongside his brother Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump shared his optimistic views on the future of the cryptocurrency market.
Although the program’s focus was on the adoption of stablecoins, the conversation shifted to Bitcoin. Eric Trump began by saying, “I’ve never been so bullish on Bitcoin in my life,” and added, “I think it’s going to hit $1 million… Volatility is inevitable in something with such enormous upside potential.”
During the interview, a current Bitcoin price chart was displayed on the screen. According to the data at that time, Bitcoin was trading around $67,000, experiencing a 4.5% daily drop. Referring to the volatility, Eric Trump stated, “Big gains always come with fluctuations.”
Eric Trump is also the owner of American Bitcoin, a $BTC mining company, and the company recently announced a large $BTC purchase.
