Thesis, a venture studio focused on Bitcoin-based products, has acquired Lolli, a Bitcoin rewards platform. The move adds Lolli to the Thesis portfolio, which already includes Fold, Mezo, and tBTC. The goal is to expand Bitcoin’s use in everyday consumer activities and support the development of a circular Bitcoin economy.

Lolli, launched in 2018, has rewarded more than 600,000 users with over $20 million in Bitcoin for online shopping, gaming, and other digital activities. It will now be led by Thesis CEO Matt Luongo, who also co-founded Fold. Under Luongo’s leadership, Lolli will focus on product updates and international expansion.

Planned improvements include upgrades to Lolli’s Arcade and Daily Stack features, new earning opportunities through a partnership with Fold, and instant reward payouts. The company is also developing plans to make the platform available outside the U.S.

Thesis aims to integrate Lolli more closely with its other services to create a more seamless experience for earning and spending Bitcoin. This includes infrastructure changes to make the platform more scalable.

The acquisition is part of Thesis’ broader strategy to bring Bitcoin into more consumer-facing products and services, reducing fragmentation between earning, holding, and using digital assets.
