October was a positive and highly volatile month for the broader cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin (BTC) surged by 28% in the last 30 days, driving other projects to massive gains in a short-term bull rally.
In particular, Injective ($INJ), Mina ($MINA), and Solana ($SOL) led the top 100 cryptocurrencies in performance, with monthly gains of 71.25%, 58.54%, and 58.18%, respectively, as per data retrieved by Finbold from CoinMarketCap’s 30-day top gainers on October 31.
Interestingly, Solana has been carving its results as one of the best-performing crypto year-to-date. At the same time, Injective has been surprising many analysts with extraordinary gains in October, going up in ranks by market capitalization to the 44th position, according to CoinMarketCap.

Meanwhile, $INJ is trading at $13.62 per token for the best month-over-month performance in the top 100 crypto. Injective’s 24-hour volume is at $78.95 million, for 7% of its $1.14 billion market cap.

Mina ($MINA)
The Mina Protocol is changing hands by $0.62 at the time of publication, being traded as high as $0.8998 in October. $MINA’s 24-hour volume is at $50.98 million, for 8.3% of its $614.73 million market capitalization.

Solana ($SOL)
Solana has the highest market cap among the three best-performing cryptocurrencies in the month. Trading at $36.63 by press time, with a 24-hour volume of $1.26 billion and over $15.29 billion capitalization. $SOL is already up by 5.27% on the last day of the month.

On the other hand, Maker (MKR), Uniswap (UNI), and Curve DAO (CRV) were the top losers in October, with accumulated losses superior to 6% in the last 30 days.
