General Updates
Neo N3 T5 TestNet was upgraded to Neo-CLI v3.10.0 on June 12, and is planned for MainNet on June 26. It introduces groundwork for the upcoming Gorgon hard fork alongside new developer tools, wallet enhancements, and an official Docker image for simplified node deployment.
Neo X TestNet was upgraded to v0.6.0 “Rarefaction,” which introduced support for Ethereum’s Osaka fork, a rebased Geth v1.16.9 foundation, and the new BEACON/2 P2P protocol for improved network synchronization. The release is fully compatible with Neo X v0.5.3 and continues the chain’s pattern of tracking upstream Ethereum execution-layer changes. Neo X is built as a fork of Geth, Ethereum’s Go-based client implementation, maintained by Bane Labs. As such, it inherits execution layer upgrades from Ethereum’s roadmap. The v0.6.0 update is the latest in a series of TestNet releases that have progressively modernized Neo X’s architecture.
SpoonOS launched Arena, where eight LLMs are competing to predict 2026 FIFA World Cup match outcomes using real capital on Polymarket, with all net profits set to be distributed to community participants. Arena places each model under identical conditions with US $500 in starting funds, totaling $4,000 across the competition.
BitMart added support for deposits and withdrawals for both $GAS and $NEO on the Neo X chain. The addition allows BitMart users to move assets directly on Neo X without needing to bridge through Neo N3. The exchange offers $NEO/$USDT spot trading with up to 5x leverage, as well as $GAS/$USDT spot trading.
OKX announced it is offering 34,000 $NEO tokens, valued at over $70,000, through its X Drops Club rewards program. The exchange announced the campaign on June 10, making it available to eligible users who hold $10,000 or more in crypto assets on the platform.
nDapp released a weekly Neo N3 $GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 71,288 $GAS over the past week and that on-chain activity burned about 242 $GAS.
Frank Coin released a World of Elements update that highlighted smooth multiplayer play and new features to reward early-access testers. Additionally, Frank Coin hosted a Neo trivia contest on Telegram, where the top players earned 100 FRANK tokens, and ten random players won 40 FRANK tokens.
NNT hosted a GasBot Trivia round where participants competed for a pool of 4 $GAS rewards.
Developer Updates
Neo SPCC released new versions of NeoFS push-to-GitHub actions, including v0.3.0 of action for Allure reports and v0.5.0 of generic action.
COZ awarded 525 $NEO to three independent contributors in Proof of Working 2.6, recognizing work on multi-chain AI agent tooling, trustless token vesting infrastructure, and wallet interoperability improvements for the Neo ecosystem.
