The long-discussed parameter change is expected to take effect in early May. Zhang also launched a public page to continuously disclose all fund use promoted by or decided with the participation of the temporary committee, making spending records available for ongoing community oversight.

Neo co-founder Da Hongfei announced that March 2026 compensation to core developers has been disbursed, noting that the Neo Foundation and Neo Global Development have funded core developers, contributors, and community groups consistently since inception without a missed period.

A set of community-led initiatives were launched to support the governance reform debate, including a side-by-side comparison site for the competing co-founder proposals by NNT, a community alignment proposal led by COZ, and structured GitHub discussion topics for stakeholder feedback on specific themes.

Neo surpassed a new milestone for Neo 4, the RISC-V VM solution passed block-by-block state root verification against the full Neo MainNet dataset, confirming the design has moved beyond the conceptual stage. Zhang shared the milestone and described the result as validation that the approach produces identical state transitions to the existing system.

Neo X launched on LayerZero’s permissionless omni-chain infrastructure, enabling cross-chain interactions, liquidity flow, and composable applications across more than 170 blockchain networks.

OneGate warned users of impersonator accounts on X falsely claiming to represent OneGate, its customer support, or its team members, confirming that @OneGateSpace is the only official account on the platform.
