Unichain Expands With Chainlink Integration

Unichain, a DeFi blockchain developed by Uniswap ecosystem contributors, has integrated the Chainlink data standard and joined the Chainlink Scale program. The move is aimed at strengthening infrastructure and supporting further growth of onchain financial applications. Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network securing DeFi data flows.

With the integration, developers on Unichain gain access to Chainlink Data Feeds and Smart Value Recapture (SVR). The system allows protocols to recover part of the value typically lost to MEV.

The integration builds on last year’s updates, including the rollout of Data Streams and cross-chain functionality via CCIP. This gives Unichain a full suite of Chainlink tools for handling data and connecting across networks.

As part of the Chainlink Scale program, Uniswap Foundation, nonprofit supporting Uniswap ecosystem growth, will subsidize certain operational costs.
