The Long-Expected Report for Ripple (XRP) Came Critical: "They're Lined Up for XRP!"

XRP, one of the altcoins that benefited most from US President Donald Trump's presidential victory in November, along with Bitcoin, has been on the market's agenda ever since.

While the inclusion of XRP in addition to Bitcoin in Trump's reserve statements increased the interest in XRP, cryptocurrency analysis company Messari discussed the development of XRP.

In its latest report, Messari focused on the recent acceleration of XRP’s role as a treasury reserve asset.

Stating that a new trend is emerging on the institutional side in 2025, Messari said that XRP is now seen by large companies as a store of value and a tool to increase liquidity and is increasingly adopted as a treasury reserve asset.

At this point, Messari highlighted three public companies exploring creating strategic XRP reserves, citing three companies, VivoPower, Wellgistics, and Webus International, that have treasury reserve plans for XRP.

“Unlike traditional assets, XRP offers unique benefits such as faster settlement times and lower transaction costs.

At this point, as more companies realize these advantages, they are increasingly incorporating XRP into their treasury strategies.”

Pointing to Nasdaq-listed Webus International, Messsarii said the company has filed with the US SEC to raise $300 million through non-equity financing to create a strategic XRP reserve.

Secondly, Messari noted that VivoPower, also listed on Nasdaq, has set aside approximately $121 million to create a strategic XRP reserve.

Finally, Messari noted that Wellgistics Health is the third company to explore an XRP treasury strategy, saying that the company raised $50 million last month to adopt XRP as a treasury reserve asset.
