Uniswap Launched Stimulus Program

Decentralized exchange Uniswap has launched its own governance token UNI. Users who interacted with the platform before September 1 can receive 400 UNI tokens.

The exchange plans to distribute 1 bln of its tokens over the next four years. The huge amount of all UNI tokens, which is 60.0%, will be in the hands of the Ethereum community. The rest of the tokens will be distributed between the Uniswap team 21.25% and its investors 17.8%.

At the time of this writing, there are 22,681 registered addresses with UNI tokens. Since the launch of the UNI token, its value peaked at $4.08 and then dropped to $3.
