Warner Bros. To Release 100,000 Matrix-Style NFT Avatars

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NFT's platform Nifty's and Warner Bros will launch 100,000 The Matrix Resurrection avatars with a dedicated Red Pill feature. Starting November 30, avatars will retail for $50 each.

As with the original Matrix movie, NFT buyers can choose between a red or blue pill. If they choose the blue pill, their avatar character will remain in the Matrix. If they choose the red pill, their avatar turns into a resistance fighter.

The creators clarify that the avatars will not be the heroes of the film, but simply people living in the virtual world from the cinematic universe. Later, there will be other opportunities to change avatars and earn new NFTs. Which ones are not yet known.
