TRC20-USDT Circulation Volume On TRON Network Exceeds 37.9 Bln

The TRON Foundation, the issuer of TRC20 tokens, reported on Twitter that the circulation of USDT based on TRC20 issued by Tether on the top of TRON network has exceeded $37.9 bln.

The main idea behind issuing TRC20-USDT on the TRON blockchain is to allow users to transact and exchange fiat-pegged coins, paying almost zero fees.

TRC20-USDT is also giving way to TRON-based protocol interoperability services and decentralized applications (DApps). Since launching its main network, TRON has been actively working with rapid iterations of the product, which has contributed to its worldwide distribution.
