IOTA To Release Chrysalis Update Next Week

The announcement from the IOTA Foundation was enough to bring the IOTA price back to the levels, which it last reached more than a year ago. The foundation announced the launch of the updated IOTA 1.5 network, also known as "Chrysalis" on Twitter.

In theory, the upgraded network will be able to process over 1000 transactions per second. The Chrysalis implementation is planned in two phases. The first phase is expected next week, and the second - in October this year.

IOTA's price began a real rally hours after the Chrysalis launch was tweeted. We should note that the rally in the value of IOTA reached $0.40. At press time, IOTA is trading at $0.3977.
