Dutch banking group ING has sold its digital asset storage and post-trading infrastructure technology Pyctor to market infrastructure provider GMEX Group, according to a statement released on Monday.
The technology was developed at the ING Neo Innovation Lab in Amsterdam in collaboration with major financial institutions and regulators. Pyctor is now a service offering within Gmex.
As part of the move, Gmex Chairman and CEO Hirander MISRA was named Chairman of Pyctor's Board of Directors. ING will continue its relationship with Pyctor and will collaborate through the ING Digital Asset Group.
